MySudo is the all-in-one digital privacy app, with encrypted email, texting, calling, browsing, and payments, all in one place.
The homepage initiative crafted a centralized place for users to access their digital identity information, learn why privacy is important, and make MySudo part of their everyday life.
The Problem:
Digital privacy is important for everyone, but not everyone makes it a priority due to a high barrier to entry when it comes to replacing their personal information with Sudo information. Having a centralized place for users to have easy access to everything they need to keep a private life makes the barrier to entry smaller, and improves navigation and usability of the app.
Define Phase
The biggest part of the define phase was research. I conducted an internal diary study that aided in developing empathy maps for each of our personas.
Diary Study
12 users, 12 days, and once daily check-ins. I asked each user if they used the MySudo app, what they used it for, what their experience was, and how could it have been better.
This helped us define how we want to customize the homepage experience for each of our five personas.
